Isle Royale National Park is situated on an island on Lake Superior near the Canadian border. This beautiful island spans 432 square miles and was shaped into its present form by Ice Age glaciers. The Fall River Visitor Center just outside Rocky Mountain National Park is the only one open during the government shutdown.
