Great Sand Dunes National Park- A few hours south from Cañon City will take you to this fascinating and inspiring park. The lift serves intermediate and expert bowl terrain to the right of Chair 4. Due to increased skier numbers, in 1995, Loveland decided to enlarge the Basin lodge to its current size. More than 3,000 elk, 800 bighorn sheep and herds of mule deer and moose live in the park.
